Rob Cook Shooting with NO Sights Target Focus training
SHOOTING WITHOUT SIGHTS? Been thinking a lot about shooting, while it was too cold outside to shoot. Today, I finally got to practice and did some experimenting. Long story short, I could shoot as accurately with NO sights but faster since I could maintain a target focus and not have the back and forth optical focus gyrations. We all are taught that the front sight is the key focal point. My experience has always been telling me otherwise. Yong Lee discussed this in his interview on The Shooters Summit. Now I proved it to myself. Shot a 7 inch group at 30 yards, easily with no sights. And on 10,15 and 20 yard targets it was easy to shoot all A hits, faster with no sights! Could be a real breakthrough in my competition performance level!

Me shooting our monthly Cody club match on August 14th, 2016. In preparation for Area 5 in a week, I have practiced focusing on accuracy and vision skills, and good hits. Worked great today, which of course, slowed me down a little, making me a little over-conservative. All good though. Now need to get into good physical condition again!

My video of our Section Championship Saturday. Fun match. I do not function well on too little sleep! We had to rise at 2 am to get to the match 230 miles away, on time. Great match though.

we have a pair of ravens fly over us when we go out to our small backyard My 6-year-old always sees them and says hi pretty crows and they seem to like being admired. Recently we started seeing them carrying things in their beaks to a nearby tree we think they might be starting a nest to have some baby ravens we love them. we enjoy them flying over us to say hi to them so smart.
Thank you for sharing this invaluable perspective. We are grateful!
Hope you haven’t got any sheep or lambs or you’ll be sorry, ravens are known for killing lambs you know that.
Thank you for the incredible footage
Why they're mouth stuck open? 😆
These chicks are almost as big as mama... Outstanding...
im worried. I see some raven in the bridge thing above a metro track.
Ravens mate for life and live thirty five years. Mom takes care of every one. Those kids are sure noisy.
How lucky are you!
❤❤They are great parents. All are fed not just closest mouths. What was Mom, working her way around the babies, inspecting?? Thank you for sharing a wonderful video. I have only seen empty nests😢
NIce nest, thanks for sharing.
our ravens in Britain are huge. wing span of over 4 feet. bigger than a common Buzzard. My favourite bird, they sound different aswell
seismic blast, SBD, blow smoke, in-between states, long goodbye, aftershock, got away, poof, sleeping dog and butt bees
5:37 The crow went back to a wide area and tore the food that was difficult to tear 😲 To provide equal nutrition to many babies
Beautiful video. Liked and subscribed
To the blogger why don't you give your spare food on the family of raven.. They are five siblings need human intervention to help the mama raven..
Feeding 5 large nestlings at once? How does she find time to feed herself?
Incredible video. Great insight.
Thanks for this amazing video
Frog's legs for dinner... nice! Can I have a glass of Chardonnay with that?
Is anybody know the USPSA scheduling dates at Billings Missouri
fun fact: ravens’ mouths are pink when they are young but turn black as they mature
This is how I see people. I might be a psychopath.
Just beautiful. There’s a lot of crows and ravens around my apartment building. They’re so smart, and a constant source of entertainment.
Just found out ravens live 30 years!! Cool! 🔥
"Class III Growler"? HA! The last one is known as "The Rambling Phaducah". A true weopon of ass destruction!
0:45 I love how the 5 one is totally facing the opposite direction XDDDD
One doesn`t look as if get enough food!. I know what it`s take to raise five chicks I got six children big job. how I wish I had mom and dad like them.
Daytime Raven kick assss racoon At night Raven couldn't see 2- without Wolf many Racoon, opossums every where
Whew! Mama definitely has her work cut out for her doesn't she? That right there is the textbook definition of a full time job! Taking care of those 5 little bottomless pits would wear anybody out, but it will be more than worth it when those little guys are mature. Ravens are incredibly beautiful and intelligent, and anybody who appreciates them knows how cool they are. For those who understand, no explanation is necessary. For those who don't, none is possible.
Raven and Crow Juveniles will come to the same nest to help their parents feed the net generation of chick's which is very cool.
@@carlogaytan7010 Do you think maybe us genius top of the food chain humans might just possibly be able to learn something from these guys?
@jpalberthoward9 it's a communalist culture, as opposed to an individualistic culture. Like how in Eastern cultures, the sons are expected to take the parents in to care for them in their old age. The benefits are that you've got a big safety net, have everything (like income, but also bills) going into one household, ect. The downside is that some people are just not pleasant to be around, and if you're related to them, it's harder to disconnect from them. If you're supposed to move your parents in when they retire, but they're not good people, then if you refuse you're the bad guy.
Genesis 8:7 Noah sent forth a raven to see if the ground was dry.
I watch a bald eagle nest in Big Bear, Ca. A Ravens nest is close by and both nests have babies so there is a constant battle of territory protection. Just wanted to pop in and see how the Ravens do things. So much different than how the bald eagles do things. Thanks for the video ♥️
IT WAS THE GUY FROM TIKTOK WASN'T IT LOL
Just saw dead sea lion on the coast of a beach. near it tho (smell).
I started to feed a couple of ravens about two years and today 04/16/22 I just noticed that the same two ravens are building a nest about thirty feet from my property !!! I named one Yoki and the other one Rooster ! They depend on me for food and nature but I don't know what baby ravens eat ... I will do some research asap !! I'm so excited and happy that Yoki and Rooster decided to nest so close to my house .. ❤
Give them anything, crows are scavenger and will eat literally anything even chocolate. The feed my local crows hot cheetos 😋
Not 2000lbs, remember it's bloated.
Maybe he was just old?
The one that was standing in the frond of the nest, was always getting food! It was surely the smartest! 😁😆 Such cute babies and Mom! 😊
Not smartest, greediest.
It seems to be a hot day. Thank you for letting the ravens be.
thats pretty huge
Wonder why he died
Perhaps it was a killer whale chasing it.
@@readynow12345 it very well could have been
@@readynow12345 that wouldn’t cause it to die
Old age,its color of the fur
@@mrchihuahuaboy4306 I think he’s implying that it could Have been injured by the whale.
That mother raven must be raiding the dumpster at McDonalds to keep them all fed!! Good grief , she must never get any rest. Bless her heart ..... Wonderful Video. Thanks.
I love how she actually came over and checked on the baby that was turned around. I was worried about it, but she took care of things. So cute!
Skull would make a nice show piece
Yea lemme just go decapitate it real quick
Neat
Amazing beast
Very useful. Thanks
The kids this whole video: :O
This is an incredible video, thanks so much for filming and posting this. That is a busy mama. She's awesome
Wow amazing,ravens are brilliant,intelligent birds,,what a clip
